I am a little late posting today. I have been out shopping for some Black Friday specials. For those of you who may not know, Black Friday is a huge shopping day in the US. It is the day after Thanksgiving where stores open crazy early and have great sale prices. It is called Black Friday because it is the day that retailers claim their sales move from red (a loss) to black (a profit). I actually left my house at 3 am today (after exactly 1 hour of sleep o_0 ) , shopped until 10:30 and came home and slept until 3:00, lol - I did mention it's crazy, right?

Being thankful and giving back - 2 charity collabs to tell you about...

Just a few other things to tell you about. ScrapMatters designers are so blessed to be able to do what we love and to have your support doing it. We wanted to be able to pay our blessings forward and use our creativity to help others. So some of the SM designers put together these great mini kits into one giant collection. Kits 4 Kids will be on sale until Dec 10th and 100% of the profits will be donated to Toys for Tots.

About a month ago one of my CT members, Katie came to me and told me a story of a 2 year old little girl. This little girl is a friend of her family and her name is Kami. Kami has been diagnosed with a rare type of liver cancer. At 2 years old. This just breaks my heart.
Katie has worked hard to get some designers together to make a kit to help raise funds for Kami's family. If you would like to help, you can purchase this kit from Katie's store.

TGIF!!! It has been a very long week here in my house. My family has all had a nasty cold/flu virus that just wiped us out for the first half of the week. We are off the couches, now,lol but still coughing and sneezing. So maybe I can remove the big, red quarantine X from my front door this weekend, lol!
