Oh My Stars, I've come un-hinged!

Ok so that's a totally cheesy title, lol. But maybe it gave you some hints as to what my new products are this week!

**Oh My Stars {CU Shapes} - 20% off through Sunday

I had some fun doodling in Illustrator this week. I made up some layered stars. Each set of stars has one doodled layer plus one slightly larger shape layer behind it. They are available in both pds, tiff and png files. The layers are aligned in the templates, but you can easily offset them as I have in the preview (if you like). There are also 3 sets of stars that have 6 layers included in them as well.

These template shapes would make great papers or elements, or clipping masks for your photos and papers in your page designs!

> Hinges {CU} 20% off until Sunday...

I also have some beautiful, old hinges in my shop today.

Correction

I'm sure some of you may have noticed last week that I was a complete bone-head and mis-priced my Page Edgers Bundle. So this week they will actually be a Sweet Deal! I'm discounting them an extra 10% this week for a total of 30% off! I'm so sorry for my mistake :)

I mentioned last week that I'm starting up the freebies list again! Please feel free to link up your freebies (either to your blog or your shop). Just click the link below to join the list....

New Page Edgers, a Freebie and a SUPRISE!

Happy Friday everyone!

Today I have some new products, a freebie and a little surprise so be sure you read all the way to the end...

First up, I made a new set of my popular Page Edgers. They are great for adding a grungy edge, getting an "inked" edge look or even blending two papers together.

I bundled up all three sets of my Page edgers...

And I have a little freebie for you today :)

Now I mentioned a little surprise right? Well some of you may remember WAY back when I used to be a freebie hunter. I would spend hours each day searching and searching for freebies to share with you. When I started designing, I didn't have time to do both (well and still see my family, lol) so I had to pick one or the other. As you can tell, design won out.

But I've always missed the old freebies days :(
A couple of weeks ago I was surfing some crafty blogs and came upon some link lists. Whoa - stop the presses! It took me all of .00001 seconds to decide that I was going to start up the freebies list again!
Here's how it works. See where it says "You're Next" below?

Well you are welcome to come to my blog every weekend and add a link to your site - if you are offering a digital scrapbooking or hybrid scrapbooking freebie!
You can link up your freebies until Sunday night and then this post will close. Please only link freebies from the last week :)

Happy Patterns Vol 6 and a Freebie!

Good morning!
This week I have been crafting, designing, cleaning and cooking. My friend Denise has been sharing some recipe sites and she has inspired me to cook something that takes more than 10 minutes, lol. Ok so I do usually cook a little better than that, but with 2 little girls in the house, I gave up on cooking "grown up" meals for a while and opted for quick and easy. Well now that the girls are a little bit older they can help a little instead of simply being attached to one of my legs. This week I tried this recipe:

Roasted Butternut Squash and Bacon Pasta

It was amazing! It felt good to cook something so good. My DH was so happy that it had bacon and cheese that he even cleaned up the zillion dishes that I used. My girls... well, let's just say we made good use of their no thank you helpings for this one, lol. Neither of them likes any kind of squash.
I have tons of cook books that I am planning to pull out again. But I'd love to get some great recipe sites - where do you find amazing recipes?
I mentioned I designed something this week right? I had a lot of fun playing in Illustrator this week and made some really FUN patterns for you. I am publicly apologizing to Shari - our QC person who had to check these over for me! They make great patterns, but checking them over for QC must have been so fun, lol! Sorry Shari- you are the BEST!!!
Ok so here are the new patterns!

I thought it would be a good idea to give you another preview so that you can really see what each of the full overlays look at - so here is another preview of the same product...
Oh imagine the beautiful papers you could make with those! EACH color on each overlay is on it's own layer. It will make it so EASY for you to customize it to match your kits! AND you can totally mix and match the layers - to make completely unique papers!
I had SO much fun making these this week that I actually couldn't stop. So I thought you might like to play with this one. You can grab it free with the link.

Seeing Spots!

Just a quick post today to let you know that have a new product in my shop today....
Happy Pattern Overlays Vol 5 by Happy Scrap Girl Designs
Today it will be 20% off (till Sunday)...
There are 6 fun paper patterns in this set to help you make pretty papers & elements a breeze!
Each overlay is available in 3 forms. Choose from layered psd files, layered tiff files, or individual png files. Each color on the overlay is on it's own layer to make your design process easier. I have used white & light grey as backgrounds for preview purposes - but they are transparent, layered files.
Have a great week!
